Brooke has more than a decade of experience working in international development, and Australia’s cultural sector, and specialises in designing communications frameworks that align governance, strategy and ethical storytelling.
Her work focuses on shaping narrative direction, influencing policy conversations and centering lived experience and informed consent in communications. She has led cross-agency initiatives within Save the Children Australia and United Nations Environment Programme, coordinating communications across global contexts and translating program outcomes and research into accessible, stakeholder-relevant outputs.
Brooke’s postgraduate background examined power, gender and institutional change, where her work explored how systems reproduce hierarchy, and how alternative models of leadership and knowledge production might be designed (and tested in practice).
