Home 2025 HLC Session Summary: The Critical Role of Women’s Rights Organisations in Humanitarian Response

The 2025 Humanitarian Leadership Conference, held in partnership with the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, took place from April 8-9, 2025 in Doha, Qatar.

Day 1 featured a panel discussion titled,’ Seeing the Unseen : The Critical Role of Women’s Rights Organisations in Humanitarian Response. Approaches, Effectiveness, and Sustainability. The panellists discussed the need for greater visibility, recognition, and sustainable support for women’s rights organisations, and discussed the importance of bridging the divide between humanitarian aid and human rights.
