About Prof Cherednichenko
Prof Brenda Cherednichenko is the Executive Dean Arts and Education at Deakin University. She is Chair of the Australian Fulbright Commission Victorian Selection Committee, a Director of the Origin Foundation Board and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
She has worked with Aboriginal Elders, colleagues and communities for more than 30 years, and considers this work both a career highlight and a gift. She believes that true empowerment is created when we enable our own learning and the education of others.
