Jessica is an international communications specialist with more than 10 years of experience delivering communications projects and events for academic institutions, NGOs and the private sector in Australia, the UK and Asia and the Pacific. She specialises in managing digital communications, events and conferences, and producing publications for social development causes.

Jessica joined the Centre in 2020 as Online Communications Officer, with a focus on growing digital communities and managing online promotions and engagement for the 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference. Now working as the Centre’s Senior Communications Advisor, Jessica works closely with staff and partners to promote research, events and education opportunities to target audiences.

Jessica has extensive experience in working with development sector academia to deliver effective communications strategies for research and development projects with a focus on gender and humanitarian leadership. Prior to joining the Centre, she worked with the ODI in London, UK, helping the launch the branding and communications strategies for two new multi-year social development research programmes: Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence and ALIGN.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of International Studies from UniSA.
